| BACK TO THE FUTURE FOR NEW-LOOK BUSES |

BUSES on three routes in and around Heanor, Ripley and Ilkeston are getting a new-look in a throwback to bygone days.
Historic images of local scenes will brighten up the insides of services 1A (Ripley-Aldercar), 23 (Heanor-Kirk Hallam) and 27 (Kimberley-Larklands).
Out go the old Trent Buses logos, and in comes the much warmer internal and external décor.
Sarah Taylor, marketing manager of trentbarton, said: “Our murals on the backs of our H1 and the nines services have created a big talking point with passengers. They’ve brightened the buses up no end.
“Now, for the long-standing local routes 1A, 23 and 27, we thought it would be good to look back at the way things were on the inside. There are always so many details to hold the attention in old photos.”
