| Coach Service Goes onto Facebook |
| |
THE Red Arrow expresses between Nottingham and Derby is well known for its friendly drivers.
Now the coach service has become even more sociable – by getting its own page on Facebook where it has already gained almost 50 online fans.
The air-conditioned expresses remove much of the hassle of driving and parking for commuters and shoppers travelling between the two East Midlands cities.
The coaches all have on-board tables for catching up on a bit of work or having a cup of coffee, and run into the evenings six days a week and into the early hours on Friday and Saturday nights. The trip between the two cities takes 40 minutes at busy times, and that comes down to half an hour in the evenings. The service also goes to Chesterfield.
Sarah Taylor, marketing manager at trent barton, said: “Red Arrow has been a remarkable success story since the service was launched. No wonder that its popularity has led to it having its own Facebook page”.
“We continually invest in our fleet, and although the coaches are only just under four years old, we’re giving them a complete makeover and adding even more features, so another announcement about Red Arrow that will excite its fans will be made in coming weeks.”
