| Take a Free Ride on New £1M Buses |
| |
ILKESTON folk are to get a brief preview of the town’s new rainbow 2 buses four days before they officially go on the road for the first time.
And, what’s more, they’ll get a ride from Ilkeston town centre to Cotmanhay and back for FREE.
MP Liz Blackman will be in the Market Place at lunchtime on Wednesday 2 June to see the town’s new bus service which replaces the Double 2 service between Ilkeston, Cotmanhay and Nottingham.
trentbarton is investing more than £1 million in the new buses – and there’ll be even more services because of their popularity.
Passengers won’t miss the new buses – they’re in a new striking yellow livery – and all are wheelchair and buggy friendly.
Ian Morgan, commercial director of trentbarton, will join Liz Blackman on the first bus on the road at 1.15pm on Wednesday 2 June.
