| Ten thousand tickets to ride given away |

TEN thousand free journeys are being given away on a bus service that is benefiting from a £1 million investment.
This year, six new state of the art buses went on to the my15 service between Ilkeston, Long Eaton and Sawley.
They are the most comfortable buses ever seen in the area. Each has a designer exterior and interior, with double-glazing and air conditioning. They all come with leather seats, creating an environment that would normally be associated with a high street coffee shop. As the buses are larger than the current fleet, they have more seats, more knee-room and much needed extra space for buggies.
Now 10,000 leaflets are being distributed to homes along the route, offering a free ticket to try out the bus service.
The new look for the buses on the my15 service was produced by Britain’s top bus design company.
“Buses are no different from shops and we want to match the standards of retailers, so we have tried to incorporate some of the sought-after ambience and atmosphere of a coffee shop,” said designer Ray Stenning, of Best Impressions.
